Materials

The requirements for materials in heat engineering applications are manifold. The demand for optimum thermal conductivity is common to all fields of application. Added to this are aspects such as corrosion resistance, formability, weight minimisation, etc.

Wieland Thermal Solutions is already processing an impressive range of materials today: Copper, copper alloys, aluminium, carbon steels and high alloy steels. These materials cover a wide range of applications. Under this heading we are presenting you the materials we use along with their properties and applications.

Recycling and supply

Environmental protection plays an important role in our company and we use resources economically and efficiently. The metals we use are largely recyclable, with copper being recyclable even up to 100 %. Scrap and production waste are melted in our state-of-the-art foundry or re-introduced into the raw materials cycle via partner companies.
