Air-conditioning has become an integral part of modern life due to climate changes and the call for more comfortable conditions. Chilled ceilings provide quiet and draught-free cooling or heating.

For this application, Wieland has for many years supplied plain copper tubes manufactured according to relevant standards and regulations.

Copper offers special advantages for the use of flowing media in tubes. Its high thermal conductivity (about 7 times higher than that of carbon steel!) makes it possible to manufacture particularly compact ceiling modules.
